•50g (1/2 cup) rolled oats •15g (1 tbsp) nut butter •15g (1 tbsp) brown sugar (or sweetener) •10g (1 tbsp) flax/ chia seeds, optional •7g (1/2 tsp) cocoa powder •1/4 tsp cinnamon •1/3 tsp vanilla extract •pinch salt •30g (2 tbsp) yogurt (thick) •110g (1/2 scant cup) nondairy milk TOPPINGS •1 tsp brown sugar •1/4 tsp cinnamon INSTRUCTIONS •Combine the oats, nut butter, brown sugar (or sweetener), flax seeds, cinnamon, vanilla extract, pinch salt. Add yogurt, milk and stir to combine. •Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight. •Before serving, set 3 tbsp of the batter aside and mix with cocoa powder. •Transfer 3/4 overnight oats to a glass/ bowl and add the cocoa oats. Then cover with the remaining batter. •Mix cinnamon with brown sugar and sprinkle over the oatmeal.
